PPI Automotive Design GmbH is a member of the prestigious VDAT – Association of German Automobile TunersThe VDAT association was founded in 1987. The VDAT e.V. is not only interested in representation of the most renowned tuners of the world – this  worldwide association of the tuning branch is also available for the end users to assist in advice and action. To this end, there was the introduction of the VDAT e.V. seal of approval. With this seal of approval it became obvious – and immediately visible for the end user – that this is a “quality product of a VDAT member,“ as the most important reason for the introduction of the VDAT-seal-of-approval was explained by the management of VDAT e.V.The VDAT protects the end users as well as the members against the unserious actions in shape of „product-bootlegs“, since cheaper-quality copies are a threat to life or physical condition and can harm the life and body of unsuspecting users!

 

Acheivements of the VDAT(taken from the VDAT website)During the establishment of the VDAT in the year of 1987 it went mainly around representing the interests of the Tuning industry opposite the TÜV. But the work of the Association of German Automobile Tuners is substantially more varied, the tasks became more complex. The emphasis shifted toward quality assurance and self-check. A substantial component of the VDAT activities is it in addition to represent the members in the public and to generally embody the term „Quality tuning “. The initiative TUNE IT! SAFE! is a good example is.
